Freya Allan from The Witcher reveals that the Scene of Ciri and Lambert Hilately did not come out as planned
Season 2 of The Witcher is now available, and fans know that much of the series takes place in Keyed Moorhen, since Gerald takes Cirri there to train and keep her safe. We have several cases of Cirri and Gerald working together, but we also see Cirri training alone or with other Pitchers at different times along the series, including a sequence in which Lambert seeks to make a point with a training doll. Comicbook.com had the opportunity to talk to Freya Allan about that scene, and she revealed that the scene did not come out according to the plan for the actor of Lambert Paul Bullion, and it was a sequence of memorable and quite entertaining events.
Oh yeah. That was very fun because basically, obviously Lambert enters and has to cut the doll. Truth? And it is very high. I think it measures 6'3 or something like that. Then Lambert enters and says, 'Yes, let me show you how this circle is done, and he is like making fun of Cirri, and then he approaches, and the doll simply does not break in half. It simply swings. And then I said, 'Oh, that's a bit uncomfortable, is not it, Paul?, Who interprets Lambert, and then we look for another shot. Once again, the thing does not break, and I say, this is getting a little uncomfortable for you. Now, he is trained and all that. And just like our characters, I was taking a bit of mockery. We laughed a little about it, said Allan.
And then in the third take, finally the thing breaks and I could see on the face of it that she had this feeling of 'Thank God' because it would be really embarrassing if she did not listen to that, said Allan. And because of that, the camera was not over me and very bad, I just could not keep his composure. So I stood there thinking, you know when you're trying to contain a laugh?, as if I had exactly that because I could see that he was as well as, thank God that worked this time.
That led Cirri to have a cut scene of her, and she knew that she had to do it in less than 3 attempts. So yes, that was a very funny moment and after that we laughed a lot. It was very funny this really high guy and could not, you know, and then there is a scene I had to cut the head to one of the fools and I remember that the AD said: It will be better if you win Paul and get it In the first shot ». And then, in the first shot, his head goes flying, and he was like, 'Now you just have to call Paul and tell him that you did that.' So yes, we definitely had exactly the same kind of relationship our characters had, which was very fun and facilitated the transfer of that kind of energy to the scenes, said Allan.
