Cloud Imperial Games was launched in 2012 by Chris Roberts and other veterans in the industry. The team started working on Star Citizen and Squadron 42 shortly thereafter. The two titles have created a huge media hype in the players' community. Star Citizen has been under the microscope of players for a long time, but the developers continued to publish content and updates for the title. Star Citizen — Alpha 3.16 Update is the last update that will introduce more content in the title. In Alpha 3.16, players will enjoy Jump town 2.0, a new event, as well as other key features.
Jump town 2.0, inspired by the original PVP event, allows players to engage in large-scale battles while teams secure drugs or deliver them in the hands of criminals. Legal and criminal players must fight for booty. Which side will you be? In addition to Jump town 2.0, the new update introduces other interesting contents.
The Drake Cutlass Steel is a new freighter with eighteen seats to send combatants while the Atmospheric Bounties allow players to go to different areas of space. Premium hunters can now continue their enemies in the distance. Finally, Gravrev-Lev Physics Rework allowed for a major improvement in the control of the Bikes Hover, including its stability and maneuverability.
In addition, in January, players can expect more changes, including Derelict Puzzles in Update 3.17. Players will be able to navigate and explore abandoned ships for a precious cargo.
Star Citizen combines the FPS action with spatial simulation elements as well as massive multiplayer components. Players can adopt any role they deem good, whether it's a merchant or warrior in space.
